Description

Created on a whim. Doodled a bunch of logos with my new tablet, and turned them into service icons.


I know they're sloppy, they're "hand drawn" afterall. This of course makes the smaller icons a bit difficult to see.

For some reason the small Jabber icon looks like a key. xD

I have made a reversion of these icons in black and white only: Handdrawn Reversion

Changes

2-19-07: Added "chalk" and "colored chalk" versions for dark backgrounds. I should be done now! I'm sure the Adium people are getting tired of me resubbing everything to fill requests. xD
2-13-07: Added colorfied version!

Do you mean like filled in with color, or just in different colors (like color coordinated, or in ink pen blue or red)?

I really like a lot the idea! Why not with colors, like aquarelle?
But, first of all, I will love to have the same thing for Status Icons.

How do you suggest the status icons be? I love making sets so, I'm all about making more. xD
Like little scribbles? or..circles? or what?

Of course the status icons would have to be in color unless I figure out a way to signify everything with a simple symbol. x.x

I love they're hand-drawn and sketches...sketches are most times in black and white..on a whim with a free hand and an open mind. I love the idea of wanting to gain a bit of free hand motion back to a very stiff computer set programming systems that we live in now. I totally know why you got the bug to do this :D

Actually I do have plans to make one, but I'm not sure if I should doodle a chat bubble or what. I'll probably end up making two. >w>; Since my status icons are chat bubbles.

Probably not. Those are too small to bother with color on. They would get too crowded-looking. I already dislike how the small versions of these look.

Although it's not a definite no, I'm just saying I probably wouldn't enjoy making them that much since I know they'd look rather indefinite and hard to read properly. I could make a white version for people with dark lists if enough needed it but color is probably a no.

But those don't have a specific color to color them D: The typing icon is a scribble after all. And they're all crowded.

x3 Well you were the one who first suggested a dock icon. I prefer the dock icon to the other ones myself, since you can see all the "intricate detail" on my scribbles. :B

I'm now thinking about "drawing" the adium duck for a dock icon. But I'm afraid it would be too much. xB

mhhh, can it be that you have forgotten the suffix from the ZIP file???
I have downloaded it and the data file had the name "adiumy_emoticons_2_5016_3012.".

When I submit the binary I make sure the .zip suffix is on there. It does that automatically anyway.

You just have to open it with stuffit.
