DescriptionOkay here goes, my First status icon set!I made this to accompany the iBubble Dock icon made by me :-P I have included two color variants, one to match iBubble, and the other with original colors. Any comments are appreciated :-) Changes*UPDATE* Updated to 1.3- Made some changes to colors. - Added a pen to Typing, Content, and Entered text state - Dropped the other variant, I think only green should indicate online :-P (I can put it back but only if I have to) *UPDATE* Updated to 1.2 - Tweaked the content icon and changed the color to white for easier reading. *UPDATE* updated to 1.1 - Changed the Mobile icon base color to black, for easier reading Images CommentsYou can reply to individual comments by clicking the "Reply" link next to each. # by michelebugliaro on 09/10/05 at 16:16:09They are good, though I find b/w would've fitted Apple's UI better.
# by zacw on 09/17/05 at 18:21:08I think you should differentiate between "typing" and "content" with more than just a ... or ! change. It's pretty difficult to tell when somebody is typing, hit enter, and started typing more.

I'll make a variant when you give me a nice color ;-) # by Akurin on 10/10/05 at 19:28:15hmmm, lighter yellow for idle and orange for typing, purple for content, and darker blue with white exclamation point for entered text make the original blue bubble lighter also. and invisible and offline slightly lighter if u want. that's just my take for more colors. is this all ok?

I would suggest perhaps a light brown for the 'unknown' status, or maybe a warm gray? The pink is just a little too alerting for something not so important. Also, why not differentiate between 'invisible' and 'offline'? Lastly, perhaps a blue exclamation point instead of white would be nice for 'entered text'... it's hard to see on my PowerBook. # by Junpei on 10/17/05 at 20:03:33I like the entered text the way it is now, a dimmer version of the "typing" icon. If it were blue... it just wouldn't work. Both would have to be changed to blue, which I don't think would look as good. But that's me. Personally I think the "Content!" icon could do without the little pencil over it, as at that point the contact is no longer typing.
Every version of this icon set has been better and it's definitely my set of choice. It's also one of the rare *complete* icon sets for Adium, which really matters to me. Is there any place I can download the old sets? But, overall, great job. I love this set.

I dont know where the problem is. Can you please help me. If I use chat bubbles, everythings fine. But not these. Im using icq protocol.
# by codeman38 on 07/09/06 at 00:39:34I'd like to see an alternate version with a bar on the 'away' icon and a clock on the 'idle' icon, as in the dock icons. Some people might find that more cluttered, but I find it easier to distinguish the icons that way (and I imagine anyone with red-green colorblindness would find it useful too!).
